Santa Catarina Travel (SCT) is a tourism promotion program run by International Business Intelligence Asia-Pacific Consultoria Limitada (IBI Asia-Pacific), a consulting firm that specializes, among other services, in the destination management of the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
IBI Asia-Pacific, works as the international arm of Santur, the Santa Catarina Tourism Board, for the US, Canadian and Portuguese markets. The Tourism Attraction Program is managed by Martin Desmaras, Joceli Marina Cardozo and Janete Cristina Balduíno.
The mission of SCT is to contribute to the tourism attraction efforts of Santa Catarina, by developing, marketing and implementing effective programs, in order to help build the tourism industry into a key driver of economic growth for this region.
IBI Asia-Pacific will work towards revitalising tourism segmentation and its products, in strategic partnership with Santur and the State Secretariat of Tourism, Culture and Sports of Santa Catarina, with an initial focus on business and event tourism, ecotourism and G&L Travel.
Our aim is to help organize and promote exciting experiences for visitors to Santa Catarina, working very closely with an array of tourism service companies, including hotels and inns, ground operators and transportation companies, as well as with government agencies, in order to etch in visiting tourists an image of Santa Catarina as a unique and unexplored destination.
To pioneer best practices in destination promotion and marketing, and set benchmarks in the travel industry of Santa Catarina, at the infrastructure and service levels.
To become a driving agent of tourism and tourism-related activities for the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
